Almasabrosa organises reggaetón courses in Firenze.
Reggaetón music is often played at Latin nights and can be a moment to “let off steam” between salsa and bachata sequences. It also happens that some salsa tracks have sections where the sounds come close to those of salsatón (salsa-reggaetón), so an interpretation of that musical moment with reggaetón movements can fit right in. For this reason it is introduced as a complementary element in the salsa courses.
To dance reggaetón is to move freely. But that isn’t always so instinctive. We therefore explain and perform reggaetón steps and movements both as an exercise for body movement and warm-up, and to help the student find a body movement that is harmonious and fluid, including some characteristic moves that come from both Caribbean dances and hip hop.
